Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager will serve as the main connection between NoGigiddy and its online community of side hustlers and gig workers. This role focuses on moderating communities, engaging members, gathering feedback, and helping improve the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and moderate NoGigiddy's online community spaces, including Discord, Facebook Group, Reddit, and social comments
- Respond to member questions, posts, and feedback in a timely and authentic brand voice
- Create community content such as polls, threads, announcements, and conversation starters
- Identify and recognize top community members and power users
- Collect community feedback and share insights with product and content teams
- Coordinate with social and support teams to resolve escalated issues
- Monitor community health metrics and report trends weekly
Requirements
- No degree required
- Proven experience managing or growing an online community on any platform
- Strong written communication with a warm, authentic voice
- Empathetic and patient when handling frustrated members
- Organized and able to manage multiple community channels
- Familiarity with Discord, Facebook Groups, or Reddit moderation tools
