Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager acts as the link between NoGigiddy and its community by moderating, engaging, and collecting feedback to improve the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and moderate online community spaces such as Discord, Facebook Group, Reddit, and social comments
- Respond to member questions, posts, and feedback with an authentic brand voice
- Create regular community content like polls, threads, announcements, and conversation starters
- Identify and recognize top community members and power users
- Collect community feedback and provide insights to product and content teams
- Coordinate with social and support teams to resolve escalated issues
- Monitor community health metrics and report trends weekly
Requirements
- No degree required
- Proven experience managing or growing an online community on any platform
- Strong written communication with a warm, authentic voice
- Empathetic and patient in handling frustrated members
- Organized to manage multiple community channels simultaneously
- Familiarity with Discord, Facebook Groups, or Reddit moderation tools
