Marketing and Community Engagement Manager - Job Summary

The Marketing and Community Engagement Manager will coordinate and execute marketing strategies, community initiatives, events, and communications to enhance the Bank’s brand and engagement across branches and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate marketing activities, events, sponsorships, and community initiatives across Bank branches.
  • Manage marketing and social media calendars, including content creation, posting, and promotions.
  • Partner with branch managers, community organizations, vendors, and the Bank’s marketing agency on events and campaigns.
  • Draft marketing communications, maintain website content, and organize brand assets and promotional materials.
  • Support business-banking marketing, educational programs, networking opportunities, and community partnerships.
  • Track marketing activities and ensure materials align with Bank brand, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4–7 years of experience in marketing, communications, community engagement, events, or related work.
  • Strong project-management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with social media, content development, events, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with marketing, social media, design, project-management, and website tools.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds for events and promotional materials.
  • Preferred: Banking, credit union, or financial-services experience.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with marketing compliance and approval processes.
  • Preferred: Small-business or B2B marketing experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with marketing automation platforms, such as HubSpot.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
