Content and Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow Abstraction Media's Reddit presence by owning content distribution, fan community management, and promotions to maintain an authentic and engaged platform presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically share stand-up clips, podcast highlights, and behind-the-scenes content across relevant subreddits respecting community rules
- Plan, coordinate, and execute official AMA events and interactive threads for tours, releases, and announcements
- Monitor and foster official and fan-led subreddits to maintain active, healthy, and organic dialogue
- Track daily discussions, memes, feedback, and trends to inform strategy, PR adjustments, and content ideas
- Set up and optimize targeted Reddit Ads for ticket sales and special releases when needed
- Track upvotes, reach, referral traffic, ticket conversion links, and overall platform growth
Requirements
- Proven Reddit experience with account growth, organic content seeding, AMA execution, subreddit management, or successful Reddit campaigns
- Deep native fluency in Reddit including timing, formatting, karma mechanics, shadowbans, and moderation policies
- Strong understanding of the stand-up comedy ecosystem and related subreddits
- Excellent written communication skills with discretion and ability to match authentic voice
- Data-driven approach to analyze content performance and replicate viral success
- Ability to quickly respond to viral moments, news cycles, and trending topics
