Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads classes and coach development at the studio while supporting operational and community marketing efforts to ensure studio success and uphold the brand's high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 classes per week serving as lead coach
- Set expectations and deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Support day-to-day studio operations under the direction of the Area Manager
- Lead coach development and provide feedback and support for new coach trainings
- Assist with client request responses and resolve concerns effectively
- Manage studio retail operations knowledge including packages, promotions, and apparel
- Perform routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness and functionality
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and coach training schedules
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism, hard work, and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve goals and for team building and development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Comfortable leading classes with loud music and high energy
