Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and engage a private entrepreneur community of approximately 160 members through daily Slack interactions, relationship building, member satisfaction, and event coordination to foster a positive and active community environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and participate in daily Slack conversations.
  • Initiate discussions to encourage community participation.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming tone in all interactions.
  • Introduce and connect members based on shared goals and interests.
  • Conduct regular member check-ins to assess satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute member-facing events such as retreats and meetups.
  • Monitor and track engagement metrics and report insights.
  • Manage satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback for improvements.
  • Support retention efforts by identifying and addressing churn indicators.
  • Take ownership of community health and adapt to evolving needs.

Requirements

  • Excellent US-friendly spoken English accent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience coordinating or supporting member-focused events.
  • Access to personal equipment suitable for full-time remote work.
  • Availability to work US business hours (ET–PT).
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on evolving responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in community management, member success, or relationship management preferred.
  • Background in event planning or customer-facing roles preferred.
  • Familiarity with Slack and Typeform preferred.
  • Experience working with US-based clients or familiarity with US communication styles preferred.
  • Based in LATAM or Africa preferred but not required.
