Salary range: $59,000 - $73,000

Community Manager - Job Summary

The Eastern Community Manager supports and mentors community builders in Houses and Pods to create meaningful experiences for young adult Jewish communities, tracking progress and connecting residents to resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and manage a diverse pool of House and Pod residents to create meaningful programs and strong communities.
  • Recruit new community builders and residents using social networks and regional connections.
  • Track KPIs for Moishe Houses and Pods and evaluate program success.
  • Connect residents to resources and additional Mem Global opportunities.
  • Manage financial data and administrative tasks to support community builders and gatherings.
  • Facilitate skills development, site visits, and remote interactions with residents.
  • Lead and facilitate special projects based on departmental needs and expertise.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with community members and local partners.
  • Work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

Requirements

  • Passion for community and strong team collaboration.
  • Skilled relationship builder and conversationalist.
  • Excited to serve as a mentor and manager to community residents.
  • Innovative with ability to think creatively and solve problems efficiently.
  • Strong organizational and networking skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Monday.com preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including nights and weekends.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
  • Familiarity with Mem Global as staff, resident, host, and/or community member preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or four additional years of work experience
