Head Coach - Job Summary

The Head Coach leads coaching classes, supports studio operations, develops coaching staff, and helps drive community and marketing efforts to ensure studio success and uphold [solidcore]'s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach an average of 10 classes per week as the lead coach.
  • Set standards and lead by example for new and existing coaches.
  • Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences.
  • Meet company utilization and retention targets individually and for the studio.
  • Assist Area Manager with daily studio operations.
  • Lead outreach and marketing efforts for client acquisition and community partnerships.
  • Provide coach development with feedback and support during new coach trainings.
  • Respond promptly to client requests and resolve concerns.
  • Maintain product knowledge for retail operations including class packages and promotions.
  • Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and maintaining sales logs.
  • Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
  • Passion for helping others achieve fitness goals and team development.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment.
  • 1-2 years prior group fitness experience.
  • Outgoing and personable with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with mic and loud music.
  • Ability to model the [solidcore] brand and serve as a community representative.
  • Strong client relations and communication skills.
  • Reliable and professional.
