Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager leads the daily operations and team to deliver exceptional member experiences through community engagement, sales, events, and operational management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day business operations and facilities to ensure smooth running.
- Lead and train the community team to deliver a high-quality member experience.
- Handle financial tasks including petty cash, invoicing, payments, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain member relationships, proactively addressing their needs.
- Drive community initiatives such as events, member introductions, and social media engagement.
- Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the workspace within budget.
- Ensure billing is complete and follow up on aged receivables to minimize late payments.
- Work with sales leads to maintain 100% occupancy and drive revenue growth.
- Conduct tours and mentor juniors to improve member experience during sales processes.
- Maintain landlord relationships with senior management support.
- Execute events aligned with community interests and coordinate event collateral production.
- Update social media and event calendars regularly and attend internal and external events.
- Set goals, onboard, train, develop, and review team performance.
- Collaborate with People Team to track training and support team growth.
- Manage team meetings and one-on-ones to ensure clear communication and progress.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years experience in a customer-facing leadership role, ideally with sales and events.
- Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with multitasking ability.
- Thrives under pressure and solution-oriented.
- Proficient in basic computer skills.
- Good business acumen.
- Fluent in English.
- University degree is an advantage.
- Experience in coworking, real estate, or startup environments is a plus.
