Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager is the on-site leader responsible for creating a welcoming experience for students, parents, and teachers, managing studio operations, and driving growth and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming face of the studio during peak hours, ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage communication related to scheduling, policies, and studio events.
- Plan and conduct community events and student concerts.
- Handle all new student inquiries and guide families through the enrollment process.
- Promote the studio using Musicologie’s marketing systems.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of music teachers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Oversee daily studio operations and manage supplies and merchandise ordering.
- Handle student payments and maintain accurate data within systems.
Requirements

- Natural leader with the ability to build trust and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and writing.
- Ability to multitask and handle dynamic environments calmly.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Experience in customer-facing roles such as sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with proprietary software, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Motivated by community and business growth.
- Availability to work afternoon, evening, and occasional weekend hours.
