Associate Community Manager - Job Summary
The Associate Community Manager supports the investor community by managing investor relations, community engagement, and operational processes, gaining exposure to venture capital and fund operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as day-to-day contact for prospective and existing investors.
- Respond to investor inquiries via multiple communication channels.
- Provide accurate support using approved resources and playbooks.
- Help investors navigate Alumni Ventures offerings and community experience.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and internal stakeholders.
- Support investor onboarding and ongoing engagement.
- Collaborate with Managing Partners, Community Managers, and leadership on fundraising and operational activities.
- Assist with virtual events, meetings, webinars, and follow-up.
- Track engagement activity and maintain clean data in CRM systems.
- Support reporting and identify workflow improvements.
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- 1+ years experience in customer success, client services, relationship or account management, hospitality, recruiting, operations, financial services, or consulting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and provide thoughtful support.
- Ability to learn and use new systems and business processes.
- Interest in investing, venture capital, financial markets, startups, or related topics.
