Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead social media strategy and community engagement by creating content, managing online presence, and driving interactions across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Manage and grow social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
- Develop engaging content including written posts, images, videos, and vlogs
- Monitor social media trends and news to keep content relevant and engaging
- Engage with the community by responding to comments and messages
- Analyze performance metrics and generate reports on social media engagement, traffic, and growth
- Collaborate with marketing team to align social media strategies with marketing campaigns
- Identify opportunities to increase community involvement and host online events or live sessions
- Maintain a content calendar for consistent and timely posting
- Stay updated with latest social media tools, trends, and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, Community Manager, or similar role
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their audiences
- Experience in creating vlogs or visual storytelling content
- Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills
- Proficiency in content creation tools and video editing software
- Ability to analyze data and derive insights to inform strategy
- Highly creative with passion for digital marketing and storytelling
- Familiarity with social media advertising and analytics tools
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred
