Community Manager - Job Summary

The Community Manager is the on-site leader responsible for creating a welcoming studio experience, driving growth, managing team development, and overseeing studio operations to foster a vibrant music community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming face of the studio during peak hours and ensure a positive community experience.
  • Manage communication regarding scheduling, policies, and studio events.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct community events and student concerts.
  • Handle new student inquiries and guide families through enrollment using proprietary systems.
  • Use marketing tools to promote the studio and increase enrollment.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of music teachers.
  • Foster a supportive and high-performing team environment.
  • Oversee daily studio operations including supplies, materials, merchandise, and payment management.

Requirements

  • Passion for helping people and belief in the power of music.
  • Natural leadership skills to motivate and build trust with a diverse creative team.
  • Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and writing.
  • Ability to multitask and manage dynamic priorities effectively.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with project completion focus.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles like sales, hospitality, or customer service.
  • Tech-savvy including ability to learn proprietary software, Slack, and Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to work afternoon and evening hours, including occasional weekends.
