Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager is the on-site leader responsible for creating a welcoming studio experience, driving growth, managing team development, and overseeing studio operations to foster a vibrant music community.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming face of the studio during peak hours and ensure a positive community experience.
- Manage communication regarding scheduling, policies, and studio events.
- Plan, organize, and conduct community events and student concerts.
- Handle new student inquiries and guide families through enrollment using proprietary systems.
- Use marketing tools to promote the studio and increase enrollment.
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching of music teachers.
- Foster a supportive and high-performing team environment.
- Oversee daily studio operations including supplies, materials, merchandise, and payment management.
Requirements
- Passion for helping people and belief in the power of music.
- Natural leadership skills to motivate and build trust with a diverse creative team.
- Excellent communication skills in person, phone, and writing.
- Ability to multitask and manage dynamic priorities effectively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with project completion focus.
- Experience in customer-facing roles like sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Tech-savvy including ability to learn proprietary software, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Willingness to work afternoon and evening hours, including occasional weekends.
