Associate Community Manager - Job Summary

The Associate Community Manager will lead and execute community engagement strategies across social platforms to build brand relationships and provide insights, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver a cohesive consumer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day community management strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels
  • Drive proactive initiatives to increase brand affinity and loyalty within the community
  • Identify opportunities to celebrate consumers, creators, and cultural moments
  • Develop scalable frameworks and best practices for community growth
  • Manage inbound community interactions ensuring brand-consistent, timely responses
  • Draft and refine messaging aligned with brand tone and social trends
  • Support rapid-response moments related to launches and cultural conversations
  • Collaborate with Social, Influencer, PR, Brand Marketing, and Customer Experience teams
  • Manage escalation of consumer feedback and sensitive conversations
  • Work with Customer Service teams to ensure seamless consumer support
  • Translate community conversations into actionable insights for marketing and campaigns
  • Deliver recurring reports on sentiment, trends, and competitive activity
  • Optimize engagement performance using data and platform analytics
  • Refine processes and workflows for scalable community management
  • Support agency or vendor partners as needed
  • Maintain agility in a fast-paced social environment while balancing strategic priorities

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in Community Management, Social Media, Digital Marketing or related field within beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands
  • Experience managing and growing brand communities on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Strong editorial judgment and excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Ability to translate social engagement and sentiment into actionable insights
  • Highly organized with strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Deep cultural awareness and intuition for internet trends and consumer behavior
  • Experience working cross-functionally with marketing teams
  • Familiarity with social and community analytics tools such as Sprout, Dash Hudson, CreatorIQ, Hootsuite
  • Passion for beauty, culture, and digitally native brand building
