Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE

Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary

Responsible for managing and nurturing online conversations about Silencer Central products and services to increase brand engagement and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow brand advocacy, enhance online engagement, and increase customer retention
  • Lead social media strategy and plan social media calendar with content team
  • Identify and engage with influential online hunting/shooting sports communities
  • Moderate content and respond to feedback across social media channels, forums, and review sites
  • Maintain consistent and professional brand voice in all online interactions
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform the Voice of the Customer strategy
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams to align on leads, service recovery, and content strategies
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and feedback to social media and community support team members
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of team members
  • Serve as escalation point for complex community issues and coordinate resolution
  • Participate in performance activities including goal setting and coaching
  • Recommend workflow or staffing improvements to enhance efficiency and customer experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, journalism, or communications
  • 3-5 years of experience in community management, social media strategy, customer service, or related fields
  • Experience with Meta, Google, and TrustPilot platforms
  • Knowledge of reputation monitoring and review management platforms like Brand24 and BirdEye preferred
  • Passion for hunting, shooting sports, and/or firearms
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Empathetic, friendly, outgoing, critical thinker with good judgment and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, and assess performance for improvements

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, journalism, or communications
