Social Channel & Community Manager - Job Summary
This role involves owning and managing the organic social media channels and community engagement, developing strategy and content across multiple platforms in collaboration with marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and publish organic content with a weekly calendar.
- Manage community by responding to important messages and building customer relationships.
- Develop and maintain a library of organic content formats and refresh based on performance.
- Collaborate with paid media team to share learnings and test organic content.
- Monitor social listening for content ideas and product feedback.
- Write captions, scripts, and other written materials maintaining brand voice.
- Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly on organic channel performance.
- Contribute to channel strategies across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Reddit, and X.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing organic social channels for a consumer brand.
- Strategic thinker able to explain channel roles and content rationale.
- Strict adherence to Mason's Meats' brand tone and philosophy.
- Ability to produce and brief video content, including self-shot and managed shoots.
- Fluency with multiple platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, and X.
- Strong data literacy for analyzing analytics and adjusting plans accordingly.
- Excellent writing skills without overreliance on AI tools.
- Agility in applying feedback and iterative content improvement.
- Collaborative team player.
