Community Engagement Officer - Job Summary
The Community Engagement Officer will raise awareness of Carefound Home Care within local communities, build relationships with partner organisations, and support client growth and staff recruitment through networking and marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships within the local community to grow referral opportunities
- Network with local groups, charities, healthcare professionals, and community organisations via multiple communication channels
- Deliver face-to-face and virtual promotional activities to increase awareness of care services and job opportunities
- Build relationships with key referral providers, work to targets, and maintain regular contact to drive enquiries and applications
- Plan and execute community marketing events including fairs, exhibitions, and recruitment events
- Collaborate with central marketing team to coordinate social media and digital content
- Raise awareness of brand and central marketing campaigns locally
- Track communications accurately in CRM and adjust engagement strategies accordingly
- Support branch care management team flexibly to maintain outstanding care delivery
Requirements
- Proven track record in building strong face-to-face and virtual relationships within local communities
- Previous experience in home care or regulated service environments desirable
- Confidence in networking through phone, email, video call, and in-person meetings
- Ability to deliver presentations on key ageing topics such as dementia
- Good understanding of marketing principles and experience with various communication approaches including digital media
- Proficiency with Microsoft, CRM, and marketing software, plus adaptability to new technologies
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Warm, patient, compassionate, emotionally resilient and calm under pressure
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Commitment to high standards of care and support
- Valid driving licence and own car
