Senior Community Manager - Job Summary
The role involves building and managing the AIVM Discord community from scratch, crafting communications on Twitter, and engaging Layer-1 blockchain ecosystem users to grow the community and foster trust during the project's critical growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and launch the AIVM Discord community including channel structure, roles, gating, verification, and support systems.
- Create sub-communities for validators, GPU providers, AI developers, and token holders to enable focused technical discussions.
- Lead communications on Twitter by translating technical updates into engaging content including threads and memes.
- Manage sentiment, respond empathetically during testnet phase, and communicate issues to engineering.
- Identify and cultivate power users and advocates to drive long-term community growth and engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Layer 1 or Layer 2 blockchain communities with knowledge of validators, faucets, RPCs, gas mechanics, staking, and node operations.
- Expertise in Discord server architecture including permissions, anti-raid/spam measures, and upkeep of large servers.
- Technical fluency to understand developer tools, troubleshoot wallet and node issues, and assist testnet onboarding.
- Strong content creation skills for Twitter and community engagement.
- Ability to maintain calm and manage community sentiment in high-pressure, pre-launch environments.
- Community-first mindset focusing on empathy, responsiveness, and creating a high-trust environment.
