Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the company's Reddit presence by developing engagement strategies, creating authentic content, and driving brand awareness through genuine community participation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Reddit engagement strategies across targeted subreddits.
- Create authentic posts, discussions, and comments to build credibility and community trust.
- Identify and pursue partnership and AMA opportunities with subreddit moderators.
- Build and maintain relationships with community moderators and key contributors.
- Respond to comments, messages, and brand mentions timely and genuinely.
- Develop a consistent posting cadence to drive engagement and grow brand presence organically.
- Monitor relevant subreddits for valuable brand participation opportunities.
- Monitor brand mentions and track community sentiment on Reddit.
- Gather customer insights and surface recurring themes to internal stakeholders.
- Track trends and identify new engagement opportunities.
- Report on performance metrics including engagement, traffic, and community growth.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of Reddit community management experience.
- Deep understanding of Reddit culture, moderation practices, and account compliance.
- Strong written English communication skills with authentic, non-promotional voice.
- Familiarity with productivity, home office, ergonomics, furniture, and lifestyle Reddit communities.
- Experience with Reddit analytics and social listening tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage content calendar without close oversight.
- Strong judgment distinguishing genuine participation from spam.
