Senior Community Marketing Manager - Job Summary
The Senior Community Marketing Manager leads Speedo’s community, social, and media presence in North America, managing PR, influencer programs, events, and partnerships to ensure cultural relevance and alignment with global business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead PR agency partnership and earned media strategy.
- Adapt global PR/media strategies for North America.
- Cultivate media relationships for brand coverage.
- Oversee social media strategy, content calendar, and channel performance.
- Manage Social Media & Influencer Coordinator.
- Ensure consistent brand voice with global and regional creative teams.
- Build and scale ambassador and affiliate programs.
- Identify and manage influencers and brand partnerships.
- Lead community events and grassroots initiatives.
- Manage Speedo's mobile experience at events and LA28 build-up.
- Coordinate content needs to support PR, social, and community goals.
- Manage and mentor direct reports.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Creative, and other teams.
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to optimize strategies.
Requirements
- 8+ years in PR, social media, influencer, or community marketing.
- Experience managing PR agencies and influencer programs.
- Strong grassroots marketing and community brand building knowledge.
- Experience overseeing social media strategy across channels.
- Ability to manage brand partnerships outside sports sponsorships.
- Skilled in managing and mentoring teams.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with international or global business initiatives.
- Data-driven mindset with ability to translate insights into strategy.
