Community Manager & Executive Coordinator - Job Summary
This role combines community management to engage a distributed team and executive coordination to support senior leadership, fostering culture and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute monthly hybrid and virtual events, team-building activities, and social initiatives.
- Lead internal connection programs to foster collaboration and engagement across departments.
- Partner with HR to enhance the new hire onboarding experience through gamification.
- Manage the workplace environment to ensure an inclusive and energetic culture in both physical and virtual channels.
- Serve as strategic partner and master scheduler for the President and COO, managing complex calendars.
- Coordinate executive, all-hands, and cross-functional meetings, including agendas and follow-ups.
- Arrange travel, process expenses, and manage vendor relationships for events and office operations.
- Support executives with research, presentation preparation, project tracking, and record keeping.
Requirements
- 2–5 years experience in hospitality, community building, event management, or high-energy administrative/operations support.
- Preferred experience in tech/SaaS environments as a community manager or similar roles.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft Teams, Jira, Confluence, and HubSpot is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills capable of engaging diverse teams and handling executive communication.
- Highly professional with discretion in handling confidential information.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience may be substituted
