Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio by coaching classes, supporting team development, and assisting with operations to ensure a best-in-class fitness and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 classes per week.
- Set standards and expectations for new and existing coaches.
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experience.
- Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio.
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by Area Manager.
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build community partnerships.
- Provide coach development including feedback and support during new coach trainings.
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly.
- Maintain product knowledge of studio retail items and promotions.
- Perform operational tasks such as ordering supplies, conducting inventory, and maintaining sales logs.
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds.
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- Optimism, hard work, and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
- Ability to build relationships and develop teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience.
- Outgoing, personable, and team player with a positive attitude.
