Community Engagement Manager - Job Summary
Responsible for fostering relationships within the veteran community, managing online reputation, and executing events to strengthen brand engagement and align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with veterans via social media, direct messaging, and community platforms
- Monitor and manage online reviews, ensuring positive brand reputation
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance brand sentiment and trust
- Serve as the main contact for community inquiries and engagement
- Plan, promote, execute, and analyze veteran-facing events
- Align event strategies with marketing and business goals to ensure ROI
- Manage event logistics, vendor relations, and onsite operations
- Maintain event calendar integrating social media and promotional campaigns
- Track and analyze event performance and community engagement metrics
- Provide insights and reports on KPIs like attendance, engagement, and brand sentiment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field
- Ability to travel 25–50% of the time
- Experience in event planning, community engagement, and reputation management
- Strong understanding of veteran experiences with authentic communication skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Data-driven mindset with experience analyzing engagement metrics and ROI
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration
- Creativity and innovation in community-building and event experiences
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field
