Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 DOE

Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and nurture online conversations about Silencer Central's products to increase brand engagement and customer loyalty while monitoring online reputation and providing service recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies for brand advocacy, online engagement, and customer retention
  • Lead social media strategy and planning in coordination with content team
  • Identify and monitor influential online hunting/shooting sports communities
  • Moderate content and respond to feedback on forums, social media, and related communities
  • Maintain consistent and professional brand voice in all customer interactions
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and sentiment to inform Voice of the Customer strategy
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing teams for alignment and lead generation
  • Maintain deep knowledge of products, services, policies, vision, and mission
  • Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to social media and community support team
  • Review community responses to ensure brand voice and compliance
  • Support onboarding, training, and knowledge development of team members
  • Serve as escalation point for sensitive or complex interactions and coordinate resolutions
  • Participate in performance-related activities and recommend workflow improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, journalism, or communications
  • 3-5 years experience in community management, social media strategy, or related fields
  • Experience with Meta, Google, and TrustPilot platforms
  • Knowledge of reputation monitoring and review platforms like Brand24 and BirdEye preferred
  • Passion for hunting, shooting sports, and/or firearms
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Empathetic, friendly, outgoing, and a critical thinker with good judgment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work and assess performance for improvements

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, PR, journalism, or communications
