Community Manager - Job Summary

The Community Manager will manage day-to-day operations and member engagement at the Dupont Circle location, acting as the face of Workbox and driving a best-in-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to community members, guests, and prospective customers.
  • Create community engagements and member-to-member introductions.
  • Onboard new members through office preparation, tours, orientation, and technology setup.
  • Communicate community news, events, and updates to members.
  • Manage conference room bookings and resolve member complaints empathetically.
  • Manage community expenses within established budgets.
  • Develop and implement creative, social, and fun events to enhance member engagement.
  • Support and execute member events and programming.
  • Maintain a vibrant community culture by celebrating member milestones.
  • Encourage members to utilize Workbox resources and partnerships.
  • Manage all site operations and uphold facility standards and audits.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of community spaces.
  • Manage mail, deliveries, and branded materials inventory.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, property managers, and landlords.
  • Be prepared to implement emergency and fire plans.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in facility management, customer service, hospitality, coworking, or community engagement preferred.
  • Familiarity with multi-site operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Natural problem-solver, adaptable in dynamic environments.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with light cleaning duties and maintaining environment.
  • Passionate about entrepreneurship, business growth, and inclusive collaboration.
  • Comfortable using workspace technology such as booking systems and CRM platforms.
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong ownership.
