Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow online and offline communities, fostering engagement and brand advocacy across various digital platforms and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage online communities across social media, WhatsApp groups, forums, and other platforms
- Foster meaningful conversations and encourage member participation
- Respond to comments, messages, and queries professionally and timely
- Develop strategies to increase community size and engagement
- Plan and execute community-focused content calendars including posts, newsletters, and campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging with brand voice
- Highlight user-generated content and community success stories
- Plan and execute online and offline community events, webinars, meetups, and campaigns
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth event execution
- Track engagement metrics, sentiment, and growth KPIs
- Analyze community feedback and provide actionable insights to marketing and product teams
- Prepare monthly reports on community performance
- Identify and nurture brand advocates and influencers
- Build ambassador programs to strengthen community loyalty
- Ensure consistent brand tone and experience across platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- 2–5 years experience in community management, social media, or digital marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
- Experience managing social media platforms and community tools
- Basic understanding of analytics tools and engagement metrics
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: Experience managing healthcare/startup/consumer brand communities
- Preferred: Experience with CRM or community management platforms
- Preferred: Event planning experience

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
