Senior Community Growth Manager - Job Summary
Lead host growth programs in Brazil by launching and managing initiatives that increase Airbnb’s host population and drive business performance, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and onboarding education for new co-hosts, Ambassadors, and hosts.
- Analyze regional business trends to identify and scale growth opportunities.
- Design, pilot, and test new growth levers for hosts at scale.
- Develop and maintain community forums to enhance program and support feedback.
- Execute workshops, events, webinars, partnerships and integrated strategies.
- Adapt central programs to support local market objectives.
- Design and operationalize email and communication campaigns for engagement.
- Serve as primary contact and advisor for hosts in growth programs.
- Build feedback channels to deliver insights for product and program improvements.
- Identify and pilot opportunities to increase host success.
- Own revenue and host growth goals and develop new initiatives.
- Implement and evaluate plans to inform business strategies.
- Lead with inspiration aligned to Airbnb’s value of belonging.
- Contribute to strategic outcomes by pioneering new growth models and structures.
- Support development, execution, and scaling of pilots for business verticals.
- Act as a change agent using change management methodologies.
- Lead resource development with high-impact communications.
- Develop deep market knowledge and serve as a local trends expert.
- Support online and offline community events like webinars and meetups.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience in Sales, Business Operations, or Business Development in Tech, Real Estate/Property Management, or Travel.
- Strategic thinker with proven growth-driving ability and ownership of growth OKRs.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resourcefulness and goal-driven focus.
- Strong project management skills and experience leading strategic programs.
- Ability to forecast, model, and optimize growth tactics.
- Experience in sales or external relationship management across tech and consumer goods.
- Skilled in persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
- Ability to analyze problems and make fact-based decisions creatively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong empathy for the community combined with passion for growth and revenue.
- Deep understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue models.
- Creative and enthusiastic leader who can inspire others.
- Ability to work proactively with minimal guidance and handle ambiguity.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with analytical tools like SQL.
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, and technology tools for supply acquisition and retention.
- Experience with collaborative project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Airtable).
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, both spoken and written.
