Social Media Manager - Job Summary
Manage and lead Black River's social media presence by creating, publishing, and analyzing content to build brand awareness, trust, and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute social media presence across all platforms
- Create, capture, and publish photos and videos telling the Black River story
- Manage content calendar and maintain brand consistency in voice and visuals
- Engage with community through comments, DMs, and conversations
- Track and analyze performance data to improve reach and engagement
- Stay ahead of trends and evolve social strategy
- Manage customer communication through the website and order flow
- Follow up post-purchase to ensure great customer experience
- Gather reviews, feedback, and customer insights proactively
- Provide on-brand product support and guidance
- Take ownership of customer issues and resolve them
- Support influencer and brand ambassador initiatives
- Assist with trade shows, pop-ups, and brand activations
- Capture photo and video content at events for marketing use
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance brand presence online and in-person
Requirements
- 3+ years managing brand social accounts and creating photo/video content
- Strong understanding of social platforms, trends, and content formats
- Ability to create and edit engaging photo and video content
- Data-driven skills to analyze social metrics and optimize strategies
- Organized, self-starting, and able to manage multiple projects
- Creative problem-solving skills and calm under pressure
- Customer-focused with exceptional experience delivery skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and basic photo/video editing
