This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about media, journalism, and data analysis, and who thrives in a fast-paced, information-rich environment.

We are a small team with an all-hands-on-deck attitude; no task is too small and responsibilities may evolve as project needs do, but your primary responsibilities will include:

Track performance metrics (views, likes, shares, engagement rates, follower growth, etc.) for key content creators across platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Substack, etc., maintaining and updating dashboards or spreadsheets to reflect changes in audience engagement and growth. Conduct basic competitive analysis across creator ecosystems or verticals (e.g., politics, lifestyle, tech) to help identify rising talent
  • Partnerships. Assist in building and maintaining a network of partner contacts across media, research, and creator-focused organizations, working with partner organizations to exchange relevant research, insights, or data. Help identify and vet potential opportunities for creators to collaborate across platforms, campaigns, or events. Track and follow up on partnership-related action items and opportunities with zero dropped balls.

The Ideal Candidate. We are looking for a self-starter who can work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines. The ideal person will embody and apply the following skills and values:

  • Meticulous Attention to Detail. You have a keen attention to detail, ability to work well with Google Sheets, and always review something twice before completing it.
  • Strong interest in digital space. Strong interest in news, media, digital trends, and internet culture. Familiarity with social platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter) and how creators operate on them. A basic understanding of digital analytics (and experience with tools a plus!) Experience using Google Sheets to summarize data visually or in bullet format and Google Slides to create presentations.
  • Effective Communication. Honestly, proactively, and effectively communicates information across teams and stakeholders, asks questions, remains open to feedback, and builds and maintains relationships; observes and adapts to others’ decision-making, alignment, and communication styles; gives and receives helpful, constructive feedback with positive intention; understands that people are complex and that treating each other with openness and respect ensures that conversations are both productive and inclusive.
  • Flexibility. A willingness to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, as well as an eagerness to take on new components of the project. Team members are able to understand that our work depends on things being done well no matter what the task.

Compensation. This is a contract position to be paid at a rate of $5,000 - $8,500 per month depending on experience level.

Location. Chorus is a fully remote team. All team members must be located within the continental United States and must be reachable between the hours of 10am ET and 6pm ET, regardless of where they live and work.

We know that lasting change is always built on diversity. Chorus is proud to promote equal opportunity regardless of race, color, sexual orientation, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status.
