Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads instruction of approximately eleven classes per week, sets coaching standards, supports coach development, assists in studio operations, and helps promote [solidcore] in the community to ensure studio success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach an average of 11 classes per week
- Set performance and behavior examples for new and existing coaches
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service consistent with [solidcore] standards
- Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing to scout new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development including feedback and support during new coach trainings
- Respond promptly to client requests and resolve concerns
- Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations
- Perform routine operational tasks: ordering supplies, inventory, maintaining sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional
- Perform other assigned duties and projects as needed
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays to accommodate coaching and training schedules
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience
- Strong optimism, hard work ethic, and passion for health and fitness
- Ability to build relationships and develop teams fostering growth
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with high energy
- Strong client relations and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and a positive team player
