Community Manager - Job Summary

Manage and engage a private entrepreneur community, fostering relationships, driving participation, and coordinating member events to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and participate in daily community conversations via Slack
  • Encourage participation and maintain strong engagement levels
  • Foster a welcoming, professional, and energetic community atmosphere
  • Respond promptly to member questions and requests
  • Introduce members to one another for networking based on interests or goals
  • Facilitate peer-to-peer networking opportunities
  • Build strong relationships through proactive communication
  • Conduct recurring member check-ins to assess satisfaction and gather feedback
  • Identify and re-engage disengaged members to support retention
  • Address concerns professionally to ensure positive member experiences
  • Coordinate member-facing events including retreats, dinners, and virtual meetups
  • Manage event logistics, scheduling, communications, and follow-up
  • Track engagement metrics such as participation, interactions, and event attendance
  • Maintain organized records and provide insights based on engagement data
  • Manage satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback for improvements
  • Take ownership of overall community health and engagement
  • Identify operational gaps and implement solutions
  • Support leadership with ongoing community initiatives and member experience improvements

Requirements

  • Excellent spoken and written English with a neutral, U.S.-friendly accent
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Experience coordinating or supporting member-facing events or communities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency with Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
  • Reliable high-speed internet and professional remote work setup
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours across ET–PT time zones
  • Outgoing, proactive, confident, relationship-oriented, and organized
  • Professional communicator comfortable operating independently in a remote environment
