Senior Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead GoTyme Bank's social media ecosystem by defining strategy and managing teams to drive growth, engagement, and brand-building across social channels, KOLs, and online communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategy and management of GoTyme Bank's owned social media channels, KOLs, ambassadors, and online communities.
- Define social media, KOL, and community strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
- Develop strategies to grow social presence and effectiveness including audience growth, reach, and engagement metrics.
- Set content strategy and calendar ensuring relevance, platform specificity, and alignment with brand and business KPIs.
- Manage organic social community presence by identifying and engaging in relevant online communities.
- Leverage online communities for organic amplification of products, campaigns, and brand initiatives.
- Monitor and optimize social media performance using analytics, social listening, and audience insights.
- Use data-driven approach to decide which content, channels, and strategies to scale or optimize.
- Own strategic use and optimization of paid social investment based on objectives and performance data.
- Lead, develop, and manage the social media team with clear objectives and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with Brand, Product, Creative, Customer Service, and other units to integrate social initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field.
- Additional qualifications in digital marketing, social analytics, social media, or communications are an advantage.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content strategy, community management, or related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing social media and content strategies across multiple platforms.
- Experience leading or managing a social media, content, or community team.
- Strong understanding of social media strategy, channel management, audience and platform growth.
- Ability to interpret social, audience, and campaign data for strategic decisions and optimization.
- Ability to translate business and brand objectives into clear social strategies contributing to measurable outcomes.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, digital culture, emerging trends, creators, and online communities.
- Strong skills in social listening, monitoring audience conversations and sentiment for authentic engagement opportunities.
- Capability to lead a social team and influence stakeholders across multiple business units.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field
