Brand & Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and build the company's consumer and B2B brand presence through social media, community engagement, content creation, events, and paid creative input across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube including content calendar, scripting, shooting, editing, captions, and engagement.
- Build and maintain shopper and creator community, recruiting ambassadors and fostering genuine engagement.
- Ghostwrite LinkedIn content for founders, manage company pages, and shape mate's B2B voice for monthly product launches.
- Organize consumer meetups and event participation at eCommerce conferences including guest lists, format, and follow-up.
- Provide creative variants and hooks to support paid social campaigns without owning the paid budget.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in consumer brand, social, or community roles, preferably in-house at DTC brands, marketplaces or consumer apps.
- Ability to edit own videos and images using tools like CapCut, Premiere, or Canva.
- Comfortable on camera or skilled at recruiting and directing on-camera talent.
- Strong writing skills with proof of work samples.
- Experience running paid social campaigns with understanding of campaign structure and creative testing.
- Proven ability to build brand presence from nearly zero.
