Community Manager - Job Summary
This role is responsible for building and managing an online community focused on agentic AI in cybersecurity, supporting web property growth, and coordinating regional community events.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a dedicated web property driving user acquisition, engagement, and community health
- Build and nurture an active community of CISOs and security practitioners around AI agents
- Develop community programs encouraging contribution, peer review, and knowledge sharing
- Support planning and execution of regional CISO and practitioner meetups focused on AI in security
- Create engagement campaigns to drive awareness and adoption of the web property
- Monitor community health metrics and report on growth, engagement, and sentiment
- Deliver content updates, feature releases, and user experience improvements for the web property
- Gather community feedback to inform product direction and content strategy
Requirements
- 8+ years in community management, developer relations, or customer engagement in B2B technology
- Experience building or scaling an online community or platform from early stage
- Proficient with developer tools such as Claude Code, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and CISO/practitioner personas
- Experience coordinating events and supporting logistics for regional meetups
- Strong written communication skills for engaging technical audiences
- Data-driven mindset with ability to track and analyze community metrics
- Self-starter attitude to build new functions and processes
- Ability to work hybrid/on-site in Columbia MD or Boston MA
