Community Growth Manager - Job Summary
Lead strategic planning and execution of Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), manage community growth across organic channels, and serve as the liaison between the community and financial planning experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Map and execute content strategy for visibility across AI search engines and LLMs (AEO/GEO).
- Write, edit, and produce high-quality discovery-first, search-optimized content including articles and video scripts.
- Develop and execute strategic framework for the Learn site and co-own content calendar planning.
- Collaborate with CFP experts to ensure authoritative, accurate, and rank-worthy content.
- Monitor generative search algorithm shifts and identify optimization opportunities.
- Build, nurture, and scale organic community presence on Reddit and similar platforms with native editorial copy.
- Lead daily social listening to identify valuable discussions and bring insights to marketing and PR teams.
- Manage and grow external review platforms to maintain brand trust and visibility.
- Collaborate with Growth team on Affiliate Creator/Brand Advocate programs for organic mentions and backlinks.
- Work cross-functionally to identify external publications and expanded web presence opportunities.
- Analyze community sentiment and discovery data to measure ROI of off-page growth efforts.
Requirements
- 4+ years experience in SEO, Content Marketing, Digital PR, or Community Management in regulated industries.
- Strong proven portfolio in copywriting and editing across multiple content formats.
- Deep literacy in AI-driven search and understanding of LLMs and AI writing tools.
- Proven expertise managing and growing organic brand presence on Reddit or similar forums.
- Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Experience with social listening, Google Analytics, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Sprout Social.
- Detail-oriented with strong project and content calendar management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset regarding financial anxieties and motivations.
- Excellent communication and ability to simplify complex financial concepts for communities.
