Senior Fitness Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the Live 2 B Healthy fitness program across partner communities by overseeing trainers, managing schedules, ensuring quality delivery, and building relationships with senior community leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage master class schedules across client locations
- Assign trainers and arrange qualified substitutes to prevent disruptions
- Ensure trainers are certified and compliant with program standards through site visits and feedback
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new trainers, coordinating initial training
- Serve as primary contact for class communication and logistics
- Monitor and support trainer performance and program quality
- Serve as backup instructor when needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at partner communities
- Monitor program success metrics and client satisfaction, resolving issues promptly
Requirements
- Experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise management
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Confidence managing multiple trainers and community relationships
- Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Active insurance
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Preferred: experience in senior fitness or with older adults in senior living communities
- Preferred: experience in relationship development and management in senior living, healthcare, wellness, or fitness
- Preferred: experience with Mindbody platform, especially managing class schedules
- Preferred: understanding of age-related conditions and ability to tailor exercises safely
- Preferred: familiarity with fitness program management or franchise operations
