Events and Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and scale a repeatable, cost-effective events strategy to drive pipeline growth and build an authentic community, owning the full lifecycle of events and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize private and sponsored events across US and APAC for lead generation and brand building
- Develop and implement a scalable event strategy for virtual and physical events balancing cost-effectiveness with impact
- Manage attendee databases, lead list building, and promotional activities for all event stages
- Collaborate with marketing, social, and sales to create multi-channel content driving engagement and conversion
- Analyze event performance and iterate based on results
- Build authentic relationships with community members and convert them into advocates
- Manage Customer Advisory Board (CAB) and Champions program
- Curate and amplify customer stories and community voices on social channels
- Maintain social proof through G2 review campaigns and community content
Requirements
- Experience in events and/or community building, ideally outside corporate environments
- Engineering mindset with understanding of repeatable processes and systems thinking
- Strong communication skills across written, video, audio, and verbal formats
- Natural ability to build genuine connections and engage with people
- Skilled project manager able to juggle initiatives, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Creative problem-solver confident in making quick decisions during live events
- Proficiency with event tech tools, social media platforms, and project management systems
- Data-driven approach to measuring impact and iterating
- Ability to tell compelling stories and amplify customer voices authentically
- Bonus: experience in sales operations, reporting, demand generation, and start-up environments
