Brand Ambassador & Community Manager - Job Summary
Lead the digital and local presence of Merrion Group pubs and brands by managing social media, community outreach, and guest engagement to create an authentic brand voice and lively atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, schedule, and manage social media content across multiple platforms.
- Collaborate with pub managers and staff to capture brand-aligned content.
- Monitor analytics and adapt strategies to grow engagement and followers.
- Conduct local marketing within a 360-degree radius of each pub.
- Establish partnerships with local businesses and venues.
- Represent the brand at community events and networking mixers.
- Follow up with guests post-visit via social platforms, reviews, and email.
- Build rapport with regular customers and local influencers.
- Use guest feedback to improve digital and in-person experiences.
- Assist with seasonal campaigns, event promotions, and brand activations.
- Support cross-promotional activities with partners and vendors.
- Create monthly reports on digital performance and community outreach.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in social media content creation, brand marketing, or event promotion.
- Strong written and visual communication skills.
- Energetic, personable, and comfortable networking independently.
- Cross-functional work capability.
- Knowledge of hospitality, nightlife, and food & beverage marketing trends is a plus.
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut are a bonus.
