Senior Development Associate - Job Summary

The Senior Development Associate supports multiple team leads within Community Engagement by facilitating collaboration, providing strategic support, and executing key initiatives to advance FIDF’s mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team leads to create tailored programming frameworks.
  • Develop and organize educational programming and engage speakers for community and synagogue events.
  • Contribute to educational content development for the Day School initiative to raise mission awareness.
  • Work with donors and community stakeholders to develop community-based educational programming.
  • Maintain internal support by liaising with chapter directors and regional vice presidents for alignment and communication.
  • Support execution of community engagement initiatives and assist team leads with programming delivery.
  • Provide strategic support on various projects adapting to departmental needs.
  • Attend evening and weekend events as required.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • 3-5 years of experience in community engagement or related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to recommend and implement strategies independently.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to inspire collaboration and lead with integrity.
  • Ability to make inclusive decisions balancing detail and strategic vision.
  • Experience in community organizing and programming.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work with volunteers and diverse stakeholders.
  • Genuine passion and commitment to FIDF’s mission.

Education

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
