Senior Development Associate - Job Summary
The Senior Development Associate supports multiple team leads within Community Engagement by facilitating collaboration, providing strategic support, and executing key initiatives to advance FIDF’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team leads to create tailored programming frameworks.
- Develop and organize educational programming and engage speakers for community and synagogue events.
- Contribute to educational content development for the Day School initiative to raise mission awareness.
- Work with donors and community stakeholders to develop community-based educational programming.
- Maintain internal support by liaising with chapter directors and regional vice presidents for alignment and communication.
- Support execution of community engagement initiatives and assist team leads with programming delivery.
- Provide strategic support on various projects adapting to departmental needs.
- Attend evening and weekend events as required.
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- 3-5 years of experience in community engagement or related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to recommend and implement strategies independently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and diplomatic skills with the ability to inspire collaboration and lead with integrity.
- Ability to make inclusive decisions balancing detail and strategic vision.
- Experience in community organizing and programming.
- High energy, self-motivation, and ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
- Flexibility to work with volunteers and diverse stakeholders.
- Genuine passion and commitment to FIDF’s mission.
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
