Senior Fitness Community Manager - Job Summary
Manage and grow the Live 2 B Healthy fitness program across partner communities in the West Denver Metro area, overseeing trainers and program delivery to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage master class schedules across all client locations
- Assign trainers and arrange qualified substitutes to prevent disruptions
- Ensure trainers are certified and comply with program standards
- Conduct site visits, class observations, and provide feedback and support
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new trainers
- Coordinate training to prepare new hires for independent class leadership
- Serve as primary contact for class communication and logistics
- Monitor trainer performance and facilitate continuing education
- Serve as backup instructor to cover classes as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with key community decision-makers
- Monitor program success metrics and coordinate with trainers and communities to ensure quality service and resolve issues
Requirements
- Experience in fitness instruction, personal training, or group exercise management
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple trainers and community relationships
- Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Active insurance coverage
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Preferred: experience in senior fitness or working within senior living communities
- Preferred: experience in relationship development and management
- Preferred: experience with Mindbody platform for managing class schedules
- Preferred: understanding of age-related conditions and safe exercise tailoring
- Preferred: familiarity with fitness program management or franchise operations
