Marketing Intern - Job Summary
The InfoComm Community Engagement Intern manages social media channels to foster interaction and build relationships with the audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor social channels daily to respond to mentions, tags, and direct messages
- Initiate conversations and engage with industry posts and influencers
- Act as first responder to audience questions and route inquiries appropriately
- Track community sentiment and report on FAQs, trends, and challenges
- Identify and engage potential brand advocates to encourage user-generated content
- Assist with live engagement during InfoComm 2026 event
Requirements
- Passion for community management and fostering online connections
- Comfortable using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, BlueSky; bonus for Discord and Reddit
- Familiarity with social media management tools
- Awareness of social media trends, memes, and platform expectations
- Knowledge of the audiovisual industry is a plus but not required
