Marketing Intern - Job Summary

The InfoComm Community Engagement Intern manages social media channels to foster interaction and build relationships with the audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor social channels daily to respond to mentions, tags, and direct messages
  • Initiate conversations and engage with industry posts and influencers
  • Act as first responder to audience questions and route inquiries appropriately
  • Track community sentiment and report on FAQs, trends, and challenges
  • Identify and engage potential brand advocates to encourage user-generated content
  • Assist with live engagement during InfoComm 2026 event

Requirements

  • Passion for community management and fostering online connections
  • Comfortable using TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, BlueSky; bonus for Discord and Reddit
  • Familiarity with social media management tools
  • Awareness of social media trends, memes, and platform expectations
  • Knowledge of the audiovisual industry is a plus but not required
