Outreach and Community Manager - Job Summary
Responsible for building, managing, and engaging a community of producers around sustainability and climate action through educational programs, trainings, workshops, and communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Guild leadership on sustainability initiatives and develop strategic plans with engagement metrics.
- Create, launch, and manage outreach and engagement campaigns for sustainability tools, programs, and resources.
- Write and edit content for sustainability events, programming, workshops, and partner activities.
- Convene stakeholder meetings and serve as the key contact for multi-stakeholder collaborations.
- Develop and execute marketing plans for PGA's Sustainability Tool Kit.
- Build and maintain partnerships with sector stakeholders and create engagement opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders on sustainability efforts and event scheduling.
- Manage contractors and vendors related to sustainability projects.
- Ensure programs and events adhere to sustainable production practices.
- Manage content and updates for PGA’s sustainability resources and microsite.
- Develop sustainability moments during key events such as PGA Awards and Produced By Conference.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant project management experience in film and television events.
- Familiarity with sustainability frameworks for film and television (e.g. Green Production Guide, albert).
- Understanding of entertainment industry networks related to producers.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
- Successful track record in coalition-building and stakeholder relationship management.
- Diplomacy and ability to navigate competing interests.
Education
BA or MA/MS degree in relevant fields
