Head Coach - Job Summary

The Head Coach leads the studio by coaching an average of eleven classes per week, delivering excellent fitness and customer experiences, developing coaching staff, and supporting studio operations and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach an average of 11 classes per week as the lead studio coach
  • Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
  • Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service consistent with company standards
  • Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
  • Assist with day-to-day studio operations under direction of the Area Manager
  • Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build partnerships
  • Provide coach development through feedback and support during new coach trainings
  • Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns
  • Maintain product knowledge of studio retail operations and promotions
  • Execute routine operational tasks including inventory and sales log maintenance
  • Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays to accommodate coaching and training schedules
  • Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
  • Proficiency in g-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
  • Optimistic and hard-working with passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
  • Passionate about helping others achieve their goals and become stronger
  • Skilled at building relationships and developing teams fostering growth
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial settings
  • 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
  • Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable speaking on a mic leading high-energy classes

  • Superior client relations and communication skills
  • Reliable and professional
