Community Manager - Job Summary
The role involves delivering a national program to embed American Football in the UAE, overseeing flag football coaching sessions, and developing new community and education network opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify new Community Supporter organizations with supporting rationale
- Manage relationships and engagement with Community Supporter groups
- Create and oversee the flag football plan for the region, including school and after-school opportunities
- Manage relationships and communications with school stakeholders
- Manage relationships and communications with wider education stakeholders
- Identify new schools/education providers to extend the NFL team’s programme
- Manage relationships and communications with other schools/education providers
- Build connections and manage logistics with national level education groups
- Create and manage budgets for flag football activity, including school pack requirements
- Manage distribution of school equipment packs
- Develop and manage a coaching accreditation scheme in collaboration with NFL team members
- Manage relationships with NFL team’s stakeholders specific to community development initiatives
- Perform other ad hoc tasks as requested by line management
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering sport programmes to youth groups
- Comfortable managing budgets
- Experience in events logistics
- Degree educated in sport, education, or other relevant subject
- Experience organising sporting events
- Refined stakeholder management skills
- Experience in business development (preferred)
Education
Degree educated in sport, education, or related field
