Intern - Job Summary
The intern participates in supervised media, communications, and community engagement activities to build professional skills and support school programming.
Key Responsibilities
- Support media and communications activities including content development, digital storytelling, branding, marketing, and public relations.
- Assist with planning, drafting, editing, production, scheduling, documentation, and analysis of projects.
- Collaborate with staff on student-centered media initiatives following ethical standards and institutional protocols.
- Engage in responsibilities scaled by academic level and experience under direct supervision.
Requirements
- Enrollment in or recent completion of academic program related to media production, communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism, digital media, education, or community engagement.
- Professionalism, reliability, strong communication skills, and ability to follow directions and policies.
- Preferred experience with media tools, writing, digital platforms, or community engagement depending on academic level.
- Completion of required onboarding, training, and background clearance prior to internship activities.
Education
High School Senior, Undergraduate, or Graduate level enrollment or recent completion
