Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads and coaches an average of 10 classes per week, supports studio success, develops coaching staff, and assists with studio operations under the Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the studio’s lead coach maintaining 10 classes per week
- Set expectations and role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as directed by Area Manager
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development including feedback and in-person support during new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain product knowledge of studio retail operations and promotions
- Perform routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies and inventory management
- Ensure studio and equipment upkeep and functionality
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays to accommodate coach trainings
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency with g-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Optimism, passion for health and fitness, and love of the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Ability to build relationships and foster team growth
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with loud music
- Strong client relations and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and a positive team player

- Comfortable speaking on a mic while coaching
