Social Media & Community Manager - Job Summary
The role involves working as the in-market representative for the Tustin showroom to build relationships with local designers, architects, builders, and homeowners, using social media and in-person engagement to drive showroom traffic and project wins.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect local designers, architects, installers, and builders using social media for outreach.
- Engage local community groups through digital strategies to drive qualified homeowners to the showroom.
- Maintain a physical presence in-market by visiting design firms, job sites, and lifestyle hubs in Orange County.
- Manage the full relationship lifecycle converting digital interactions into CRM-logged opportunities.
- Report monthly social media engagement and opportunity statistics.
- Identify new media opportunities and connect with social media influencers.
- Collaborate with content teams to surface local story opportunities that drive engagement and leads.
- Engage local trade and homeowners on Instagram and LinkedIn with thoughtful commentary.
- Support local visibility of social media handles with aligned content and audience targeting.
- Lead showroom events, including trade events and homeowner workshops.
- Coordinate with corporate marketing on community initiatives and publicity in luxury outlets.
- Launch and scale localized partnerships and co-branded content collaborations.
Requirements
- 4+ years in local marketing, trade relationships, and high-end community management.
- Proven ability to use social media and offline networking as prospecting tools.
- Experience with CRM platforms like HubSpot and social management tools such as Dash Social, Hootsuite, and Meta Business Suite.
- Familiarity with the Orange County luxury home-renovation market and project decision-making.
- Strong copywriting skills tailored to platform-specific voice and style.
- Experience briefing and working with creative teams and video editors.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with influencer marketing and partnership management.
- Retail or omnichannel marketing experience.
- Passion for design, interiors, and home improvement.
