Social Lead - Job Summary
The Social Lead / Community Manager will lead social media strategy and community management to build meaningful relationships, drive engagement, and foster advocacy across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X
- Build, grow, and engage online communities fostering genuine connections
- Oversee daily community management including content moderation and conversation tracking
- Plan and execute content calendars, social campaigns, and activations aligned with brand objectives
- Collaborate with creative, content, and analytics teams to ensure data-informed and creative social strategies
- Monitor social trends, listening insights, and platform updates
- Manage reporting, performance tracking, and continuous optimisation for measurable results
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver social strategies and community experiences
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in social media management, community management, or digital marketing (agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of social platforms, audience behaviour, and online community dynamics
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategies that drive engagement and growth
- Experience managing teams, external partners, and influencer/community initiatives
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyse metrics and apply insights
- Passion for storytelling, culture, and digital innovation
- Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
Education
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
