Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads studio classes, supports studio operations, and mentors coaching staff to deliver exceptional fitness experiences while driving client engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 11 classes per week as the studio's lead coach
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver high-quality fitness and customer service experiences aligned with company standards
- Meet individual and studio utilization and retention goals
- Assist Area Manager with daily studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development and support during new coach trainings
- Respond promptly and effectively to client requests and concerns
- Maintain product knowledge of studio retail operations including promotions and apparel
- Execute routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory management, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional
- Perform other assigned duties and projects as needed
Requirements
- Passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Ability to inspire, motivate, and build relationships within the community
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing and personable with strong client relations and communication skills
- Comfortable leading high-energy classes with loud music
- Ability to lift/carry a minimum of 30 pounds
- Proficiency with G-Suite and MS Office, including Excel and Google Sheets
- Reliable, professional, and a team player with a positive attitude
