Head Coach - Job Summary

The Head Coach leads studio classes, supports studio operations, and develops coaching staff to ensure a best-in-class fitness and customer experience aligned with [solidcore]'s brand and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead coaching with an average of 10 classes per week.
  • Serve as the studio’s lead coach and set performance expectations for other coaches.
  • Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experience.
  • Meet company utilization and retention targets personally and for the studio.
  • Support day-to-day studio operations as directed by the Area Manager.
  • Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships.
  • Provide coach development including feedback and support during coach trainings.
  • Assist with client requests and address concerns promptly.
  • Maintain knowledge of studio retail products, promotions, and apparel.
  • Carry out routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory control, and sales tracking.
  • Ensure studio and equipment cleanliness and functionality.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds.
  • Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Optimism, hard work, and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout.
  • Passion for helping others achieve goals and build relationships.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • 1-2 years of prior group fitness experience.
  • Outgoing, personable, and a team player with positive attitude.
  • Comfortable leading loud, fast-paced classes using a microphone.
  • Strong client relations and communication skills.
  • Ability to model the brand and culture as a lead representative.
